Anzac Day 2025
OVERVIEW
This Anzac Day was something special. Over two big days, we rolled up our sleeves alongside our mates at PAV and supported RSL WA across six powerful events around Perth.
From the hush of dawn at Kings Park to bacon rolls and bikkies at Government House, and all the claps and cheers along the March through the CBD — this wasn’t just a day of remembrance, it was a full-city moment of connection.
OBJECTIVE & CHALLENGE
Help deliver an Anzac Day that felt seamless, inclusive and meaningful — not just for veterans, but for the whole community.
That meant planning for thousands of people across six different sites — each with their own schedule, setup, and energy. There were a few challenges to iron out from past years, and our job was to make sure every event felt effortless, respectful, and easy for people to attend and engage with.
INNOVATION & IMPLEMENTATION
We worked closely with RSLWA and Hello Pav for months to map out the full experience — from site maps and signage to stakeholder chats, risk planning, and live logistics.
Every event had its own vibe. The All Abilities Sunset Service was slow, calm and considered — with Auslan interpreters, wheelchair access and a space that felt genuinely welcoming.
The Dawn Service was a feat of quiet coordination. Think: AV crews in the dark, early-morning crowd flows, and moments of complete silence as the sun came up.
Then the March kicked off — uniforms, applause, flags waving, energy high. We were behind the scenes managing routes, barriers, wayfinding and crew. After all that, the Gunfire Breakfast brought everyone back together on the lawns of Government House — for tea, coffee, Anzac biscuits, and some seriously good chats.
RESULTS & SUCCESS
More than 35,000 people came through across all events — and the feedback? All heart. The RSLWA board and stakeholders said it was the best Anzac Day delivery they’ve had.
But beyond the stats, it was the feeling on the day that said it all. Quiet nods. Hands on hearts. Kids waving flags. Conversations over cuppas.
It’s the kind of work you don’t always see — but it’s exactly why we do what we do.
Big thanks to RSL WA, PAV, Perth City, Government House Western Australia and Kng’s Park and Botanic Garden for letting us play a part in something so meaningful.
