Woodside APEA 2025

OVERVIEW

The Woodside stand at the 2025 Australian Energy Producers Conference (APEA) brought a fresh sense of warmth and innovation to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Over three days, more than 3,000 attendees experienced a unique and welcoming space that broke away from the typical corporate look — blending lush greenery, refined materials, and local flavours to tell the story of Woodside Energy’s evolution as a leader in the oil and gas sector.

OBJECTIVE & CHALLENGE

The primary goal for APEA 2025 was to position Woodside as a forward-thinking industry leader — not just in scale, but in sustainability and human connection.

The challenge? Deliver a bespoke 12m x 9m stand under tight time constraints, balancing corporate standards with creativity. Every detail had to be thoughtfully curated to create a space that encouraged meaningful conversations, not just foot traffic.

INNOVATION & IMPLEMENTATION

From the start, the idea was clear: create a space that felt less like a trade show and more like a relaxed, welcoming environment.

We raised the LED screen to become a cinematic backdrop for captivating content, softened the space with pendant lights and florals from Willow Bud Flowers, and carefully selected warm materials that contrasted beautifully with the polished, high-traffic exhibition setting. A highlight? The rich scent of freshly brewed coffee by Margaret River Roasting Co. — a subtle yet powerful way to make the space feel inviting and uniquely Western Australian.

The stand also hosted a bespoke cocktail evening featuring South Australian wines and a tailored menu, providing a premium, after-hours networking experience right on the exhibition floor.

Behind the scenes, our team managed it all — from supplier curation and stakeholder approvals to tight bump-in timelines and on-site coordination. Every element was mapped, managed, and delivered with precision.

RESULTS & SUCCESS

The result? One of the most talked-about stands of APEA 2025.

With over 3,000 attendees visiting across the three days, the Woodside space became a go-to destination for coffee catchups, casual networking, and evening drinks. The thoughtful layout and warm design made it stand out in a sea of traditional booths, while subtly reinforcing Woodside’s values of innovation, sustainability, and human connection.

We’re proud to have helped bring this vision to life — proving once again that when design meets purpose, even the busiest exhibition halls can feel like home.
